Hi all!
I was running a training session on Value Stream Mapping. We calculated a value add time of 10 minutes and a non-value add time of 45 minutes. As a result 22.22% of time within the process is value add.
However, one of the students asked what would be the meaning if the value add time was 45 minutes and non-value add time was 10 minutes. Is it correct to say the process would be 350% over-processing?
Any help is welcome!
