CSA and UL Process and Materials Follow Up Audits

Firstly I was struggling to find a forum to ask this on, so apologies in advance.

We have recently used CSA to test a product against UL standard UL60950. (successfully)

In previous lives I used to have the UL / CSA man turn up periodically to validate our process / materials were unchanged from that which was used to produce the certified product.

Does this program still exist, who administers it, what arethe manufacturers obligations etc, etc.

I have looked at CSA site and either I am missing something or its not referenced, also tried googling it and still struggling.

has anyone got ideas / advice / links please.

CSA, or their representative will still do factory audits - typically quarterly unless you have agreeement for less frequency bi-annual inspection.

Assuming you have gone for Product Listing, and not just testing, then part of your application will have detailed your manufacturing facility.

Suggest that you either contact the CSA engineer who issued the certificate or contact one of their offices via http://www.csa-international.org/contact/

This comes under the area of product certification. Typically, there is an agreement between the product certification body and the manufacturer and details of audit (frequency, etc) are covered in the agreement.
