Registrars with AS9100 accreditation approval suspended

According to the RAB Directory of QMS approved Registrars, another Registrar has had it's AS9100 Accreditation temporarily suspended.

check the RAB website.

I tried the link - I'm getting a server error right now.

It worked OK this morning, but it seems to be hosed right now. I just tried to get there by following links on their website and it still shows a server error.

If they are officially suspended, why can't you simply let us know who it is. This seems like important information for the quality industry. If the RAB suspended our QMS certification I am sure it would be public information. We are required to inform our registrar if we have an issue, shouldn't we also have the right to know?

As soon as the link comes back up I, or you, can go there and repeat it here as obviously it's public information. But you never know - they may have been forced to kill the availability of the list to the public through legal or other means - so it may not come back online. I guess we'll soon see!

"AS9100 Accreditation temporarily suspended" registrars.

I am very frustrated with my own inability to work the site. Please tell me where to find out how to use the site to get this info. It certainly isn't outlined in the site FAQ.

Hi Wes:

Leave the registrars name field blank and hit submit. You will get a listing for each registrar. At the end of the registrar's listing will be the suspension information if applicable. You will of course have to scroll for each registrar. If you have a registrar you want to check, enter the registrar's name in the appropriate field.

Effective 09 February 2004, AOQC has been suspended for their ANSI-RAB NAP QMS AS9100 accreditation. While suspended AOQC will not be able to issue any new ANSI-RAB NAP QMS AS9100 certificates.
