Can I include the Prop 65 statement within our RoHS statement?
"We hereby certify all our ~~~~ material complies with both RoHS and Prop 65 restrictions." or something like that?? :thanks:

Prop 65 doesn't mean a thing outside California, but sure, no harm, no foul
I agree, but almost every customer we have requires us to certify that we meet the labeling requirements for Prop 65 and none are in California.

Certifying that you meet the labeling requirements, and certifying that your product complies with the restrictions are two different things.
Why paint yourself into a corner to combine two pieces of paperwork?

As long as the statement is true, yes.

While Prop 65 may be a California "thing", many companies want to make 1 product they can sell anywhere, including California, so they manufacture to adhere to Prop 65 requirements.

It is true that Prop 65 is controversial. 1986 California Proposition 65 - Wikipedia

Actually, I am beginning to think that one declaration that covers all the regulations (ie: REACH, ROHS, IEEE, prop 65, etc) is a best practice. I have some suppliers doing this for me now and it seems pretty practical.

Prop 65 surely is controversial. I keep wondering when they are going to require that air be labeled. ;)
