Please Help! DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) Raw Material Information

I'm new to this forum & I might be posting this in the wrong section but I'll give it a try.

If our customer is requiring dfars compliant material & we purchase from a raw material supplier, should there be a dfars statement on the certification or is a a country of origin or melt enough?

Re: DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) Raw Material Informatio

I have always been able to use the country of Melt. One suggestion, I would periodically review the government website to make sure it has not been updated. It seems something changes about once every 6 months.
Thank You to Michael_M for your informative Post and/or Attachment!
