Thank You! DPA 2018 & GDPR 2016

I have been looking at the UK DPA 2018 and the GDPR today.
I wonder if anyone has found fundamental differences between the UK DPA and EU GDPR?

Re: DPA 2018 & GDPR 2016

Quote:
The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
From here:-

Data protection - GOV.UK

That is an official site.
As I understand it, EU Regulations are not allowed to be altered when implemented in national law, so DPA is identical to GDPR.
