Creating a PPAP document for my Suppliers

I have been tasked to create a PPAP document for my suppliers, as we have suppliers that furnish us with finished parts or parts that we finish the final operation, and then ship to the end customer. Are their guidelines or anything I need to keep in mind? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What type document? A procedure? A form for the suppliers to complete?

Remember that PPAP is the result of APQP.

The AIAG PPAP 4th edition manual is a good start. (and the APQP manual)
