Friends,

From AIAG.....

eAPQP Technical Guideline and Business Object Document (BODs) Available Soon

To promote interoperability and eliminate the need for additional software to translate/map between eAPQP systems and trading partners, AIAG's eAPQP Work Group has developed XML representations of 26 of the documents from the APQP and PPAP manuals in standard Open Application Group (OAGIS) Business Object Documents (BOD) format. These standard APQP and PPAP forms were translated into open standards compliant XML message schemas to provide a non-proprietary standard solution for customers and suppliers to electronically exchange and update APQP data and information across differing software packages.

The eAPQP XML Schema Technical Implementation Guide, a complimentary document to the BODs, will be available soon as a free download from the AIAG Web site.

That's a step in the right direction. :)

Well, I have the Implementation Guide and the eAPQP docs XSD.ZIP file from AIAG... anybody know what the heck we're supposed to do with them?

Seriously... you'd think that if you wanted folks to try this out they'd give you a little "how to..."
