I understand that ISO makes a policy decision initially whether to make any significant changes or not before referring to the TC
I looked into the TC207's current activities before I posted my question.
If anybody have any information on any decision by ISO in this matter, pl keep us posted

Maybe you should check out the ISO homepage, go to iso.org, and enter 14001 in the searchbox.
The norm has been reviewed an the definitions/crosslinks corresponding with 9001:2008 have been updated.

Apparently, the 17th plenary meetings of ISO/TC 207 on Environmental Management will be held from July 11 to 17, 2010 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. I have no idea when the next issue of the standard is due, though. Anyone?

There will be a conference in Mexico - July 2010.
From what I have seen on the agenda - no changes on 14001 for discussion.
