Correct reading for analog pressure gauge

HI guys,

Just want to ask how to interpret or read an analog pressure gauge. i have a 0-300 psi gauge (division of scale: 10 psi). from the standard i apply 50 psi, the UUT reading is below 50 psi (between 40 & 50 psi). what would be the correct reading?

The correct way to do this, assuming you have a pressure controller, is to apply pressure until the gage reads 50 psi, then determine the error by seeing what your pressure standard reads. This eliminates interpolating the reading on the gage.
