World Quality Day - Importance of Quality

Global competition drives most industries today and, to succeed, organisations must continually search for ways of being more competitive and achieve higher quality while trying to keep costs low.

For organisations, quality management has the potential to deliver such advantages and can be the difference that increases customer confidence and differentiates you from the competition.
Unfortunately, however, many organisations choose to implement and maintain quality systems in an inefficient and ineffective manner, using a selection of paper records, spreadsheets and internal databases.

This results in a bureaucratic management system that is poorly received by employees and seldom results in the business benefits it was meant to attain.

We at Gael believe for quality to become an important focus of business, it must have ownership from the whole organisation.

Quality management professionals play a big part in an organisation, from aligning the organization’s processes to its strategic goals, to ensuring that the organisation and its people consistently understand and can deliver on stakeholder needs, to helping the organization look at processes, and prioritize and deliver improvement.
