For VDA there are two types of Quality: quality of product and quality of service.
Quality of product is related to materials and quality of service is related to contact between the supplier (automotive) and customer (we). A mistake in product quality can be easy corrected but a mistake in the contacts (communication) can have influence for years and even forever. That's why VDA think it's important to have extra attention to the quality of services. As far as I know as production facility you don't have to botter about VDA 6.2.
