Taguchi Experiments for Factorial Design Analysis - Reliability of Minitab Results

Hi all,

I have done experiments using the Taguchi design given by Minitab. I wanted to know if anyone knows if inputting these results to the factorial design analysis gives accurate and reliable results from that testing?

If you created the design using Minitab's Create Taguchi Design, You need to analyze it using the Analyze Taguchi Design also. Depending on the specific orthogonal array that you selected, you could recode the entire design worksheet and define it as a custom factorial design and Analyze Factorial Design. However, many Taguchi OAs will not correspond to a classical fractional factorial. Your only other option is to analyze it using General Linear Model.
