Dear All,
I am confused with the calculation of UCL & LCL for mean and range control chart so please explain me if that is a correct calculation (described as below):
+ Formula # 1 :
CL (Center line) = average of mean values
UCL (Upper control limit) = CL + (Average of range)xA2
LCL (Lower control limit) = CL - (Average of range)xA2
Where, A2 = 3 / ( √ n × d2), d2 = 3.735 (n=20)
