Hi guys,
i am new to that forum, and i already have some questions I am looking for a "format specification" that does not cover one single message type (like VDA 4913), but all variants of the VDA "World".
I know that there are several types like "flatfiles", "edifactlike", "xml" and of course the "Engdat" files.
So what i am interessted in is:
* specifications of message types like described above
* encoding definitions / character set definitions. Which encodings are allowed in which format
* is there a VDA directory in some kind of format? Maybe like the "edifact directory"
* segement definitions, field definitions, etc...
* are fields unique and reuseable among all messages of a certain type?
If one or all of this questions can be answered, where do i get those informations/ where can i buy them? On the VDA homepage i only found pdf's describing procedures on how to handle VDA or in depth descriptions of one single VDA message like VDA 4913...
Thanks for your help in advance..
