I'm, working on a new format for OHS Risk Assessment where I have 6 different Risk Levels both in cells L6:L1000 and U6:U1000. Now I want that if the text in the said cells is, e.g., "Very High", the background colour turns 'Red'. Following are the Risk Levels and corresponding cell background colours that I wish to have:
Extremely High - Bright Pink
Very High - Red
High - Orange
Medium - Golden Yellow
Low - Bright Yellow
Very Low - Bright Green
These are same for both the cell references; i.e. L6:L1000 and U6:U1000.
I can do it by writing a VB script but it's not always good and safe to use macros. Macros also cause the files operate a bit slower than usual. Is there any other way out to do it in Excel 2003.
Thanks in advance.
