I'm looking for either for an on-line or third party training course in doing

Thanks,

Re: Looking for AS9102 training "Help Sidney"

Just using Google, I found the following:

https://www.theiplgroup.com/TrainingPage.html.
https://www.eaglegroupusa.com/AS9102 Awareness.htm

I think that there is some type of e-training thru https://www.sae.org/iaqg/fai-training/iaqg_fai.htm. It takes time to download the application.

I know that Net-Inspect have a very sleek system for 9102 compliance too. Check https://www.net-inspect.com/images/1starticle.swf

Rolls Royce has a brifing document for their suppliers @ https://www.suppliermanager-online.com/sabre/training/fair_training.pdf

This package definitely does look sharp. A word of caution though to check with your customer to verify they do not require a custom format for their FAI sheets. I would hate to spend the money on a nice software package only to find out it can't meet the additional requirements.

We're allow to use either AS9102 or ours as long as the same information is presented.

Make sure you understand your customer’s requirements. We have a number of customers who require FAI’s to AS9100 but do not allow use to use the current revision of AS9102. Others have issued documents stating what additional information must be added to current revision of the forms.

Tell you what I'm running into now. I work for a foundry that produces parts for both commerical and aerospace, and the last 4 or 5 FAI's I have submitted to our aerospace customers have all come back for paper work issues. One FAI has come back 4 times (each time from a different engineer). So even our customers can't agree what should or shouldn't be on the FAI. I'm to the point where I'm looking for some training also, just so I dont look like a complete idiot anymore.

Greetings from Canada, the company i'm employed with is currently undergoing as9100c certification. As i'm the Quality eng. asigned to do FAI, i'm wondering if anyone has inspection software they're using, that satisfies the customers, if it does is it easy to use, etc. I've found one called Discus, and i've downloaded a trial version that seems pretty good, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am aware of two software products to help with AS9102 first articles.

Discus and Visual FAIR.

Visual FAIR also offer a "lite" version that is more like discus.
