QS9000 officially obsolete and replace by TS 16949?

Sorry to ask this question again, but I seems not to be able to find the answer anywhere. (Probably I'm too new to learn how to explore the forum)

Anyway, could someone give me a hint as in when exactly QS9000 going to be officially obsolete and to be replaced by TS ? I need to know the dateline, as in to prepare for the conversion of Qs9000 to Ts in the future.

Thanks

Didn't DC give an earlier date?

Okay, I found it. In a letter dated July 2002, DaimlerChrysler announced:

"Effective July 1, 2004 , DaimlerChrysler will require registration to ISO/TS 16949. VDA 6.1 and QS-9000 will be accepted until this final deadline."

This was from Gary C. Valade, Executive Vice President, Global Procurement & Supply.
