Hello everyone,
As many people know if you work for an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), there is currently a shortage of electronic parts in the market (the parts are literally puffed by the automotive industry). This situation forces us to go and get supplies from brokers.
If you work in the Industry, do you have an inspection process in place for this type of supplier?
We have already worked to develop some tools but those were focused more on cases of counterfeit (which assume that there was a previously detected thing suggesting that the part is counterfeited).
We are looking for a "more general" process, which would describe how to handle parts at the inspection coming from brokers (process that could include for example verification of values if possible to measure, and / or checking if the broker is in an approved list, etc.).
Thank you in advance!
