Re: Solder Training

Hi Bunny,
If I am not mistaken, what you need is an authorized trainer for the Soldering, I think there are so many trainers here you can find with regard to IPC. There's one thing I know is IPC Specialist, certifying somebody for the Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

While they are not (to my knowledge) based in the Long Island area, when I was still in Production a couple years ago we had a really good consultant come out and train some of us, explain the principles, and really help us finalize our process parameters for soldering operations. The gentleman was fom a company called Blackfox; I just took a look at their website and it seems like a strong lead you might want to check out. Hope this helps. :2cents:

:agree: There are so many certified Companies and Institutes that can provide a wide variety of PCB rework and services. Whether it is a BGA, QFN, LGA or other surface mount or throughhole component. Here is the BEST certified Institute that can provide the expertise in soldering and the proper acceptance criteria associated with each device.

Yes, I also like to suggest BEST Inc for Solder Training and IPC Certification because at BEST, training is provided according to the IPC specified standards. Technicians at BEST are IPC certified as well.
