Over here, cosmetics manufacturers need GMP as a minimum. I don't have their audit checklist but there's a FDA one which may be useful.

Dear Ajit

Refer “ISO 22716:2007- Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices”. This Standard gives guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. Please get the standard and prepare the audit checklist accordingly.

Please note that these guidelines are not applicable to research and development activities and distribution of finished products.
