Generally accepted Tolerance for Surface Reflectance

Is there a generally accepted tolerance for this measurement? We are required 45% on our worksurfaces. Thanks in advance,

What are you measuring (a mirror, a painted surface, e.g.) and how are you measuring it? Are you measuring reflectance or gloss?

Painted and stained. Light Reflectance Value not gloss. Thanks!

I would expect that it would be based on the intended function of the surface. What method are you using to measure the reflected light?
