Updating Quality Manual - Adding the word Statutory in front of laws and regulations

V

viren

While updating the quality manual i got a doubt while adding the word statutory infront of law and regulations, its a bit doubtful that whether statutory word to be added infront of regulatory and legal words or not, i know it looks simple but for me its a bit confusing as both words means nearly same and i dont want to get a NC ( though a minor) from auditor becaue of this. Because in the manual at two places we have the wording laws and regulations and at other places its like "legal and regulatory requirements" so i would like to seek some help from seniors that whether should i use the statutory infront of legal and regulatory requirements or not?

Regards,

Thanks in advance

The sequence and use of wording is not important. You over-analyze this.
You can even state: "in accordance with the requirements." See? Very easy.

Hi Viren,

Firstly, I dont think that the auditor will give you a NC for this :D

Pl refer to this old thread that we have on related subject - Statutory & Regulatory Requirements - Comply with applicable laws - 7.2.1 (c)
