In an IT services and solutions company, where Project Manajement as a capability is gaining importance, as it is moving more and more from a transactional to a project management type of business, where would the responsability of managing six sigma and lean projects be?
-Would it be the responsability of the PMO who in addition to their responsability for managing customer projects are also responsable for internal projects?
Or would it be the responsabillity of the Quality departement?
-What would be the role/contribution of each in relation to these knid of QI projects?
What do you think and why?
Any related real life examples or referances, especially those from authorities on the subject, would be of great help.
