This was taken at the Golden Pheasant - a bar Kim owned. It had a 4 field software complex out in the back. A close friend for many years, but we 'lost' each other in the late 1980's. I tried to find him about 10 years ago but, as happens, he had 'disappeared'.

Any attempts to find your friend again recently Marc?
Only Kim is still in the area, or so I have heard over the last couple of years from a few people who knew him or knew of him. He's divorced and after the divorce he sorta went into hiding, so to speak. His wife was a complete b**ch, but oh - Was she a looker... I haven't heard from him in years. I have to say I haven't tried to track him down. I'm pretty sure one fellow I know knows how to get in touch with him. I may do that.
I've moved around and traveled so much over the last 30+ years I've lost touch with a lot of people. Since I retired I have pretty much settled in here at the "ranch" I can't say I've gotten into a social mode and gone out looking up old friends much. I did a bit around 2000 to 2003 but it was kind of weird. I visited quite a few old friends back in the 2000 to 2003 period. Over time most of our situations have changed dramatically and lives have changed. It's not like a big group of people who knew each other (like a high school class reunion). Most of the people I've been in touch with are settled into the last 1/3 of life and we simply don't run in the same social circles. And some have died. Others have moved (several to other countries). I've run into a few people from my past on Facebook, but I haven't really gotten into reviving old friendships.
