Hi All,
I know that mobile hoists for sale in Europe must be in compliance with the standard ISO 10535, but do they also need to have been tested to the applicable 60601 standards to show electrical safety, or can the electrical safety requirements of ISO 10535 be satisfied by referring to the electrical testing that has been performed on the component parts. I have always believed that the manufactured device in it's entirety should be tested to ensure full compliance with the regulations, and that the electrical safety of the component parts alone is not satisfactory.
