Your opinion on upgrading to Xenforo 2.2

I was unable to play the first post, but was able to access the second.

I liked what I saw on the editor and composition changes. Most of it stays in line with the latest changes in Office 365. The writing before registering may help some on conversions. I didn't really following the search portion, but hope that it can improve the current search. The remaining features were a meh to me.

Yes, the editor improvements are nice.

As to search, I think there is an 'add-on' that will make this version of ZF use Google's search for short searches of <4 characters. I'll have to think more about that.

The one feature that I really miss from the previous vbulletin software was the ability to customize the number of posts per page, up to a maximum of 20, if I remember well. I also liked the ability to have the reverse order of the posts in each thread, with the latest post at the top.

from what I saw the new post editor features are an enhancement to what we currently havendo that would be a plus, for sure.

I was surprised that Xenforo 2.0 doesn't have those options. At the time things were hectic. I just assumed those were basic options. There were several post order options in vB if I remember correctly. I don't personally miss them too much because I rarely use the forum post list view, which I assume most people use.

I have not seen an add-on that allows sorts like that.

Are you aware of "filters" in forum post listings view? Not available in viewing a thread, though...
