Hi
A question has been posed to me at our company. Define 100% on time delivery and what is exactly required as per the ISO 1002/QS 9000 Standards for evidence of tracking this section of element 4.6?

Our Assessment audit was in September, and our auditor told us with no ands, ifs, or buts, that we shall pursue 100% on-time delivery. Anything less requires corrective action. On the other hand, our consultants told us to set a reasonable goal such as 98% and try to achieve. The auditor did not buy this so, once again, it all depends on who you talk to at that moment. My advise is shoot for 100% on-time and get corrective action when you miss.

QS requires ontime delivery to be monitored - Scheduling Subcontractors 4.6.2.2 (as Dawn details). Iso900x does not.

On time delivery - you have some 'flex', but within a couple of hours either way. I've seen it tracked to +/- 1 hour. I doubt +/- 1 day would be acceptable.
