As part of our product approval process, our product has to operate to spec following storage at these humidity conditions. Following the storage, the unit failed the test protocol. Upon investigation, it was clear that electronic and mechanical components, interior and exterior on the UUT, sustained corrosion due to condensation during the storage period. IMHO, this test failed to meet the "non-condensing" conditions of the test. Can anybody provide a reference defining the proper test conditions? The technician at the test house reported that "non-condensing" applies only to the test chamber and not the UUT. Any help would be very much appreciated.
