Hi!
Please help me!.
I'm at the calibration department of an automotive industry and today they ask me to do a list of classification of gages as "doesn't allow to do", "doesn't accept" and "doesn't allow to pass" and I GOT ANGRY! because that are classfications of poka yokes!!! ..... they don't understand the difference between a gage and a poka yoke... i know the classification of a gage are: pressure gages, dial gages, height gages, gages go-nogo.... so i need you to correct me if I am wrong... how can i explain them that? I don't know maybe an example is: the temperature laser gages... I calibrate them to know that the 20°C that the laser measure are really 20°C ... but if that is a laser that getting the measure it doesn't allow the part to pass to the next process is it a poka yoke?
Please help me!! I know a poka yoke doesn't get calibration... poka yokes are verified ... if it get's calibration then are not poka yokes they are gages??
Please help me!.
