I am looking for some pointers for those who manufacture perishable tooling. How do you establish the standards/requirements for what product is acceptable and what product is not? How do you deal with product acceptance to an ASME requirement when it gives a general note "95% of drills in any one lot fall within above tolerance" (i.e., for included angle of point, lip height, centrality of web, and flute spacing)? What sampling plans do you utilize in your monitoring of product?
Thanks,
Doug
