Accepting/Rejecting Threads WITHIN Gage Tolerance

I am having an issue between my receiving inspection group and the supplier regarding thread plugs.

The part has an internal thread Metric -6H. The supplier and my R/I are both using calibrated (new- not worn) 6H thread plugs.

The problem is that both gages are on each end of the gage makers tolerance, therefore, "our" gage allow the pitch NOGO, while the suppliers gage does not go.

I believe I have seen a rule that states something like. "If there is a discrepancy between 2 calibrated gages, if any of the gages "allows" the part, then the part is acceptable"

Does someone have or have heard of this reference? Where can I find it?

I have similar problems btw my gauge and supplier's gauge.
Screw can't passed our M24*3 JIS ll GR, but their gauge can pass through failed screws.
But when I review their's gauge M24*3 6g T(nut gauge) and founded TT were very loosely most important are TZ already over than ONE turn (actual is 1.5 turn)into nut gauge which they provided.
So I insist to reject those failures. Yes, I know there have a little gap btw JIS and ISO specification of gauge size. But supplier shouldn't used gauge with wearing state, even I told them via con call before shipping.
Sometimes we should looking into calibrated gauge process not just accept according to supplier's report.
Am I right for this rejection? Correct me if any queries please.
