I just had a consultation with the auditor with regards to our readiness review and he was quite pleased with the way we have adapted the standard to suit our company needs. We are a small company (85 employees) and do not have money to throw at processes and employees. We were quite worried that we would fall short of the standard but the auditor said that in todays environment auditors should be expected to take into consideration the company's size and objectives when it comes to acquiring ts certification. Having partaked in audits for a larger organisation it is encouraging to find an auditor with common sense.

How did this post fly under my radar for two weeks? I love positive stories about dealing with auditors, customers, regulators, etc. It is a welcome surcease from a steady diet of hearing about bullies beating up on suppliers and auditees.
