I have to wait for the transition training and hope it would be part of training package.As you got the copy, it has crossed the Atlantic and further journey to Asia may be smooth.

The more I keep reading the more I get confused. My question is ANAB Heads Up 170 states: To assist CBs in planning the transition as early as possible, as outlined in SR 001, ANAB has been given approval to provide each CB with a copy of the 9104/1 ballot draft document.

Given that this document is still in draft and currently being balloted, there may be changes when published; however, the 9104/1 rewrite team is fairly confident that any changes will be minimal. ANAB highly recommends that CBs start the transition process internally and begin discussions with customers, being aware that there may be some changes a few months down the road when the 9104/1 is published.

So should a CB start using the AS9104/1 draft audit day tables for existing clients as they schedule AS9100C audits now? If not what tables should CB's use for the new revision?

I realize we are not suppose to use the draft version for new clients but not exactly sure about existing ones.

Until AS9104/1 is released and effective, AS9104A* must be used. For the TRANSITION audits, one must use the requirements contained in the IAQG SROO1 document.

*instead of ISO Guide to Guide 62, the IAF MD5 must be used.

Sorry Still confused Sidney, the SR001 talk about the use of 9104/1 all through it for audit day tables. It does not mention AS9104/A. Please help me understand what I'm missing here?

I don't understand. The Supplemental Rules Document (SR001 - Dated 18 May 2010) only mentions 9104/1 in the note under Purpose:
NOTE: 9104/1 is under rewrite at the time this Supplemental Rule is revised; therefore, 9104/1 will not be used. Once 9104/1 is published there will be a transition period determined with additional Supplemental Rules (as applicable).
