Q
I just finished All I Need to Know About Manufacturing I Learned in Joe's Garage. This is a great little book that could be used in conjunction with a more formal classroom setting to teach people in an organization about Lean Principles. What I have found over the years is that some factory workers don't like to read those weighty textbooks that we sometimes get. They often learn better by doing. I can see some really good applications of this book.....there is a little reading, and then you could set up the classroom right on the shop floor and start talking about waste, one piece flow, etc.
Does anyone know if there is a similar book for Lean in service businesses?
Next on my list is Nan's Arsonist.
