I seem to be at an impasse with this standard and our process. There are multiple layers to this issue.
We are running a nut coating process. The only specifications given by our customer is "All threads Coated". They also limit us on what we can put on the labels we place on the inspected parts. Namely the lot number, size and quantity.
Their lot numbers only change about once a month.
What is a good way to follow this standard without adding too much extra work? We have debating this internally for several months. We currently are filling out a daily log for viscosity & amounts of solvent used, but that is it.
Thanks in advance for the help.
