I have a flexible cable assembly with two, offset flat surfaces that nominally are parallel to each other. There is a requirement that these surfaces are within 20 degrees of each other along their common axis.
I thought GD&T angularity could be used but an engineer told me no. He recommended a note on the drawing pointing to both surfaces and saying they must with within 20 degrees Cw and Ccw.
What is the most efficient method to show this requirement on the drawing?
