What is best practice for Procedure Approval? We have a manufacturing company with about 2000 procedures. I am am the QMR for Shared Services (Finance, HR, Marketing, Purchasing, Sales) each with their own HOD. Some of these procedures apply for the whole company (HR) while others are SSC specific (Finance).
Should these procedures be approved by HOD or HOD as well as CEO? Previously CEO was specified in 4.2.3, but later removed because of the burden.
