Approving a New Hand Assembly Line at a Supplier

Hello!

We ordered some jigs, presses and a tester machine (complete hand assy line for assembling plastic parts together and checking if the assembly is correct)from our supplier and we are going to check and approve it on next week

I would like to run the line for at least a couple of hours, get the machines' and jigs' drawings, some flow chart how exactly the tester machine works, do an R&R with good and wrong assembled parts (limit samples) on the tester, check if the jigs and machines are in working condition. I also want to make some capability studies if the assemled part are in correct position.

What else can I do to ensure that the line will work fine at our plant too?
(I did not start the project on this (was not working to this company back then - and personally I think the whole concept is shitty but I want to be sure that I did everything possible to ensure they works as they was ordered)

So if you have any opinion or advice I would appreciate it. Thank you.

. Are the jigs polarized to accept parts only in the correct orientation ?
.. Are the presses ratcheted and with stopper set to complete the stroke required for the correct pressing and hence partial pressing is avoided ?
... Are the tester machines so designed to not accept all possible type of bad parts ?
.... + Correct installation + Operator qualification
