Once an issue about a QMS is pointed out, the organisation's own resources are normally sufficient to take care of it.
If specifically questioned about the auditor's experience on such situations, the auditor may contribute his experience on how he has seen others in similar situations handle the issue (IF he has seen such a thing).
But this is to be specifically a verbal feedback and should never sound like a a guideline or a suggested solution. Definitely not a written comment.
