Are Polyurethane Foam Rolls Bulk Material?

We manufacture polyurethane foams, based on both polyether and polyester. For the automotive branch it's mostly rolls of polyurethane foams. Our advisor told us that the rolls are considered to be Bulk Material, but is this true? Can anyone help me to clear this subject for me.

From the description you provided she/he is probably correct. If your customer has issued you a production part number it is NOT a bulk material. The best thing to do is to ask your customer.

Yes, your product is a Bulk Material, since of that it does not supply the product in part form direct assembly for its Final Customer.

Contrary case its product is characterized as Material in bulk.
