I was little hesitant to publish my tips as few may look foolish but I received many requests in recent months and many friends acknowledged that it helped them.I would request my friends to add more points if you find any more useful point.
1.Try to print the IAQG on-line training module. You can do this by using screen shot. After printing study them carefully and remember your answers. You may get 3-4 questions from this in your final exam.
2.Remember that the watch in the computer can be stopped. There is a button on top right hand corner. Ask the proctor before the test is started. Ask the guy,” In case I want to go to wash room, do I loose time?”.Also ask how many times the watch can be stopped. This is very important as you can stop the watch and go outside to think about the question. Time is individual’s. Use this privilege.
3.Do not select any answer in knowledge portion without 100% matching with the standard (AS9100 Rev.C).Do not use your memory as in many answers, you will find the mismatch of one word. You can score 100% if you select the answer only after practical matching through observation.
4.Keep a index of the AS9100 Rev.C for quick reference of the clause. This will save your time to find the clause.
5.You may consider to prepare one index for AS9101D.This would save time.
6.For class room exercise, you have to prepare your documents for each exercise and put them in envelope. This will be used for your interview. So, when you are making your documents, record what you are writing in a notebook. Other idea is to use the computer camera to record it. This will help you to prepare well for the interview.
7.There are some questions with negative marking, be careful about those.
8.Do not struggle with difficult questions, record the number and go forward. Later you come back to answer the recorded one.
9.Don’ keep any audit or consultancy work in the week prior to the course and test date. Use this time for serious reading. One week Off-work will give you work for many months.
10.Go through the FAQ portion for AS9101 Rev D, published by IAQG.

Disclaimer:tips are not alternative of hard work and publisher will not take any responsibility/credit of user's result.

Hello Lawrence,
I have posted it for all.Just look at the last post by me (before yours)

My prayer for your success.
Reading through this thread I thought it was getting close to breaching several aspects of the AATT material designed to make the examinations fair for all those who take them. Unfortunately, now you have published your list of recommendations, you have certainly overstepped the mark. I am a contractor for Plexus so declare up front that this is the case.

If you print off the on-line material you will be in breach of copyright rules. The IT system associated with the Plexus platform may be able to identify you so I suggest you don't do it, particularly the practise questions.

Secondly, I proctored an exam in Asia where a candidate contiually stopped the clock between answering questions. He remained in the examination room far longer than anyone else and was warned by both the proctor and myself that he was breaking the examination rules explained to him at the start of the exam. Stopping the clock is only allowed when taking a short bathroom break, not several times whilst you think about your answers, this is cheating. The candidate I reported subsequently failed (it was a resit), I suspect his exam was not even marked.

My recommendation to you is to obey the rules explained to you by the proctor, ignore any of Joy's recommendations that will put your exam result in jeopardy. Retakes are expensive and it is much better to pass the exam without resorting to some of the methods noted in his list.

Regards,

Hello friend,

You missed my good points as my tips included the requirement of hard works also.I feel that is most important. Some tips are only to manage the test well.Is the system of test so weakly designed that participants can pass by using those tips which you mentioned?:)If so,there must be worries .

I am not an expert of copyright rules but I understand that once the participant is paying for the course and used by self for the benefit of self, would it violate copyright acts?If it violates, please don't do this. You can still memorise.Don't ask how to do it but writing in your note book also may be copyright violation.

Why don't you ask Plexus to strengthen the system? You have mentioned one example of Asia and that may be a case of malpractice but there are participants who are appearing in test after a long gap and due to tension they feel so nervous that they fail to select the correct answer. If they take few breaks to cool down, what is wrong in that?

Please note that if you are well prepared (hard work),you would never need to stop the watch and the test will be very smooth.I had to stop once in three tests when it was really needed.

I am little worried if giving idea of copyright violation is also punishable:tg:

Joy,
I think you have good reason to be concerned. I recommend you take your list off this site as soon as possible. I'm surprised other Covers had not recommended you do this already.

Please do not use the Cove to harass or threatened users. You post does not help members gain knowledge, experience or helping people taking exam.

Yes, you could stop the clock as often as you wish.... not in the rules not to.

Yes, Joy printed common sense ideas that we all have agree, enjoyed and support.

Please friend... do not use this forum for vague legalism and to scare other users in using standard everyday day information in taking test:mad:
