What is the product that you are making?

Procedures are not required but if you have some king of training or documentation that mention Safety, FOD, counterfeit program - then you are set.

Go to the supply chain management handbook

Supply Chain Management Handbook - Terms of Use

your training is in chapter 3.4 & 3.5

Chain the name from AIQG - to your company (it is legal and accepted practice) and now you have your training, orientation and you should modify it to meet your needs.

No need for another boring procedure that no one reads - use pictures, they work better.

You can also refer to AS6174 for a lot more information on a counterfeit parts prevention program.

In auditor training last year, a participating member of IAQG commented on product safety for a non-design company.

He said that there really isn't much you can do if you are not design responsible. All you can really do is build to print. That doen's mean you have no responsibility as you must diligently build to print.

Keep that in mind as you develop a procedure.
