Attached you will find an IAQG presentation by Mr. Alan Daniels, from The Boeing Co; he leads the AS9100 Rewrite team. If the revised standard is released according to the current plan, AS9100 Rev. D should be out in the first half of 2016.

Thank you Sydney. I'm pleased there will be stakeholder surveys gathered for review by all as Rev D is developed. Will stakeholder feedback come from the CBs or IAQG to certified organizations?

About a year after ISO 9001:2015 is released and they are looking at late 2015 / early 2016. Those changes need to be incorporated into AS91XX.

So realistic - 2017.

Hello Sidney, With regard to AS9100 rev "D", it was my understanding that the requirement for periodic validation of raw material in section 7.4.3 of rev "B" had been removed from the rev "C" because all parties could not agree on the wording, but was to be restored in the rev "D" with new wording that was acceptable to all parties. Is that still planned?

Sorry, but I am no longer involved with the IAQG and the AAQSC. I have being out of the loop for over a year now.
