AS9100 section for Warehouse/Preservation of materials?

Hello everyone,

I have a doubt, I'm struggling a little bit trying to find the most suitable section(s) from AS9100 standard to perform an audit at our warehouses and in general, for preservation of materials (meaning, prior to the final product)

Sorry if there is already a thread or a question regarding this, I tried to find some information, but couldn't find any.

7.5.5 Preservation of Product applies to both finished product and to its constituent components. Shelf life issues are addressed here too.

7.5.3 Identification and Traceability probably has a large bearing here too, and the identification part overlaps with 7.5.5.

Depending on circumstances, many other clauses may apply as well.

If your quality system is using the process approach, there should be a process related to warehouse/distribution and it should include the related elements.

Typically the elements are 4.2.3, 4.2.4, 7.4.3, 7.5.3, 7.5.4, 7.5.5, 8.2.3, 8.2.4, 8.3

Those are actually the clauses that I had in mind. Guess I wasn't so lost after all

Good thinking, I wasn't considering many of those clauses for warehouse, but seems very reasonable now that you mentioned them.
