AS9120 External Provider Registry Scope of Approvals

Regarding the approved vendor registry, in which you also need to list the scope of approval (i.e. product type, process family and authorized approval to distribute, can someone better define "Process Family"?

Also, I am also assuming the following regarding the other two scope options:

Product Type: approval under the product type provided
Authorized Approval to Distribute: Authorized to distribute for the approved manufacturer/OEM

Any information would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:
