Hi everybody.
I am in a marine project and we were in the process to receive in a barge some steel pipes that we are going to use as piles for a quay. Such piles fell into the sea while the barge sank. The pipes are finished externally with epoxical paint, but internally they don't have any corrosion protection. I need to assess that the recovered material is suitable to be used, and I want to know if there is a test or process that I can follow yo confirm how far the corrosion went into the pipes. Of course firstly we will make a visual inspection in order to know if corrosion appears inside the pipes.
