I want to implement such as procedure for compliance documents. If my customer need more information about part i can provide them. But for normal case i think they don't need it.
If the system is to change, change it together in relationship...not as a one-sided decision.
Making your customer angry or disappointed because of your decision can have severe financial consequences.
Talk to the person in your company who handles the customer relationship and discuss this topic with them. Only after they agree to it should a change be made.
