Automotive makers strategy and benchmarking on supplier quality management

I am doing a research on the strategies and benchmarking of car manufacturers on quality control/management for it's suppliers. I am focusing on which car manufacturer's practice is better than others, the difference between US car manufacturers (The BIG THREE) and Japanese car maker Honda and Nissan, and Germany car maker VW, which suppler quality control strategies is more effective, which one is more beneficial to supplier improvement. The topics will also include a comparison on "supplier quality award" program of different car manufactures. How the operation between car makes and it's suppliers on quality control from the stage of product development and mas production

How about you status ? I am job is this field, But I am not big three SDE , Only tier 1 .
If you have this motors company supplier development data, Could you share with me ?
I think you best get data from Big three and motors company SDE ,Then you can compare it.
