We have Seal Quench furnaces in our Heat Treatment Shop and doing various Automotive parts. One of our customer is asking us to go for NADCAP certification. Kindly anybody can tell us the Basic requirments and steps involved to get NADCAP

All kidding aside you should first start with pyrometry. Get a copy of AMS 2750 and make sure that you have your furnace checks set in compliance with this specification.
IF you are going to keep this internal then I would have those involved attend the Introduction to Pyrometry class.

The AMS 2750 is the guide used for many of the Audit Checklist questions. The Temperature Uniformity Survey is one of the most difficult aspects for many companies to perform and the majority of companies outsource this. The suggestion for Pyrometry Training is a good approach if you are going to do this internally. If you register your company on the eauditnet.com website you will have access to reference documents such as the Auditors Handbook and Pyrometry guides.

You stated you are doing heat quenching for automotive. Are you going to be doing work for Aerospace Companies?
